Title: CPViewer Problem -- Run time error 5

I'm setting up cpviewer for the first time and it needs to generate 3 .ini files from the mame xml file.  When I run the setup utility to create these ini files, it generates one of them then crashes with a run-time error 5.

Any idea whats causing this?

Can you please post your CPWizard.ini and CPWizard.log file after this error occurs.

I dont have any cpwizard files.  I'm having issues with cpviewer (CPVS).

tried it on two computers with the same result.  i shed tears of sorrow.

guess ill just have to try and get cp wizzard working instead

I get the same error on CPViewer when trying to create the 3 ini files from the mame.xml file.  I backtracked through MAME versions and found that the last version this worked correctly on was 129, so I generated my ini files from that.  Anyone found a way around this for versions 130+?
