Hello again,
I've been messing around with resolutions with my cab, I have an ArcadeVGA 2 and a Billabs BL25C90T monitor. When I built the machine I installed the tri-sync utility for the AVGA, so now 640x480 runs progessive at 31khz. As this is an analog monitor, I have to readjust the screen when I go between 15khz games and Windows/MaLa.
Without the patch, this card will do 640x480 interlaced 15khz right? I have tried in the past to remove the trisync patch but havent been able to, tried everything I can think of, but it still outputs 31khz.
So my questions are:
Is there any way to remove the tri-sync patch and have the AVGA do 15khz only?
OR
Is there a way for the card to do resolutions such as 640x480 @ 15khz interlaced WITH the patch installed?
I would really like to remedy this because the games don't look nearly as good with stretching, etc.

Hmm. I have run into a similar issue like this once before when I was running soft 15khz and I couldn't get it to uninstall. It turned out be my copy of windows I was running. It was a hacked copy called "Windows XP Pro Essentials". Not sure what was different about it, but I know for a fact that soft 15khz didn't like uninstalling on it and would work with the same card on any other setup. I ended up doing a reinstall with a more common sort of Windows XP installation.
So, what version of Windows are you running?

Using Windows XP Professional SP2 32 bit, OEM version.

---steaming pile of meadow muffin---, I bet some people'd not mind that issue.
