Title: Happ 27" bezel doesn't fit D9800

I'm pretty frustrated.  :banghead:  Ordered the 27" bezel from Happcontrols.com for my D9800 and it doesn't fit.  Not only is the entire thing about 1 1/2 inches too narrow, but the screen cutout inside is too narrow as well to go over the screen.

Any ideas?  Does anyone know of a bezel that actually fits a D9800 and fills the gaps? 

The one I ordered has the following dimensions:
 
25.65" w  x 23.87" h  Outside21.19" w  x 16.13" h  Inside                                                                                                             

The opening between the 2 sides of my cabinet being is 27", so I'm almost 1 1/2 inches short.   Did I order the wrong bezel?  I ordered it from this page:  http://www.happcontrols.com/monitors/49010500.htm
 
I just noticed that the bezel for the curved 27" is
 
29.5" w x 29.25 h"  Outside     21" wx 15.575 h" Inside                                                                                                                           
 
Should I have ordered this one instead?  Do you think this one, although it says for a curved CRT, would work?  Why would they make the flat sreen bezel that much shorter on the sides??

so you have a flat screen or a curved screen.
Is the bezel for a curved or flat screen

The WG d9800 is a flat screen monitor and there is a different bezel for that. I think you probably ordered the normal rounded monitor bezel.

Since the screen is flat it is very easy to make your own.  Go to an art supply store for some thick black cardboard and cut it to size inside and out.

Hey all I have the D9800 which is a flat screen CRT.  I ordered the bezel for flat 27" CRT from right here:

So I know I ordered the correct bezel.  Its just too narrow.

Just for the record for anyone else out there, Xarcade contacted me and said their bezel is custom because the Happ one is too small so if you do order the D9800 from Xarcade, make sure you add the bezel option.  I totally regret not getting it.  The Happ bezel was cheaper so that is why I ordered from them instead.  Live and learn...

BTW this now means I have this bezel I can't use.  If anyone wants to buy it off me for cheap let me know.  The dimensions are listed above.

I have the exact same problem.  The Happ bezel doesn't quite fit as my inner cabinet width is 27.5". Did you end up getting the bezel from Xarcade?  I couldn't find the dimensions on their website so I'm not sure it would work for me.
