Nice work!

For those side windows, did you route out all the way through the side wall of the box, then put in the plexi/graphic with a hardboard backing?  At least thats what it looks like from the pics.  More info on that process would be cool, thats a great looking addition to the normal build imo.

Also, as I am always interested cause mine stink, what was the painting treatment you went through to get that finish?

We made some jigs to cut out the windows then routed some insets on the inner side and finally a round over on the out facing side. The plexi + art + hardboard sandwhich drops into the insets. Then some hot glue to seal the sides in. Simple setup but very time consuming.

The paint was done in a paint booth by an professional automobile painter. Still working out some kinks there (some small runs etc) but the paint itself is smooth as glass.

Well that doesnt help me personally on the painting front at all  =D

So are the windows with the buttons done the same way with the hardboard?  Is the hot glue/hardboard sturdy feeling enough when punching those buttons in?

The button windows are thick plexi (6mm?) which is held in by the control panel first then the hot glue, the amount of force needed to break it out from the front would destroy most sticks. The inner side of the plexi is painted with Krylon Fusion which gives a deep, glossy finish. If we do some snap ins up front then we will need to make a hardboard backer for the 3mm plexi, but I'm not worried about strength at this point. The window inset and control panel make a groove that once filled in make for a very strong window mount.
