Posting attachments and uploading avatars temporarily turned off. There's a bug. Waiting on a fix. :(

No idea - I'm waiting on a fix from the SMF developers, not something we're doing in house, so it may be a while. If it looks to be going on too long I'll setup an FTP we can use temporarily.

Is this a bug that's always been present?
Because cheesecake has always been fresh and available. No problems with the cheesecake that I've seen.
...Cheesecake.

Hopefully SMF 1.19 (the forum software being used here on BYOAC) just released will fix this problem.

Well upgrade to 1.1.9 not successful. :banghead:
Attachments are back online, but other than images they do not work. However, if you install Opera then all attachments work. Bugger me if I know why. Will continue to work on it, but if you're desperate for a particular attachment then install Opera for now.

Does this explain why images aren't showing up in Announcement threads? Or, better, could it have to do with splitting the picture thread up? :dunno

What kind of issues did you have during the upgrade. I had a bit of a fight on my forum with the upgrade but I eventually got it done. I can't recall (I'm scatter-brained lately), but I think I may have had to make the changes manually.

Exactly - we're going to have to do the full 1.9 install instead of an upgrade. Should happen in the new few weeks. I'm going to be paranoid, do an extra full backup of everything, apply the full 1.9, test, etc...

It's the splitting the thread. Filed under "It seemed like a good idea at the time."

Oh boy, that is going to be a lot of work that I will probably never get done. :dizzy:
