Hi,
I decided to try setting up zinc in Mamewah to play some fighting games.
I can see the games in the gameslist but can't seem to start them?
I got some controller cfg to set the controls to mame default but still can't start them.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Sham.

Zinc use a weird number based system to run games, so you can start game directly.
That why I created ZincCab to doing config and wrapper in one to it can been run easier from a frontend which is not aware of the zinc system.
Try this one:

Thanks for the reply.
The links seem to be dead, I had a quick google but can't seem to find zinccab.
Could you provide me with a link.
Many thanks.

The link probably isn't dead. There is an issue with the ability to download files from this forum. Saint and SirWoogie are working on it.

added a new link to the original ZincCab post with a external download file until downloads works again.
You can also find it here:
http://www.multife.com/index.php?page=help&system=Zinc
even ZincCab was designed with MultiFE in mind, it actuelly works fine with any other FE'S and can lanuch game using its romname rather than the number.

Thanks all for the replies.
Looks like it was a different problem?
Zinc.exe did output this:
ZiNc 1.1 (C)1997-2005 Drunken Muppets (www.emuhype.com)
Opening game: Tekken (WORLD) Ver. B [tekkena, parent tekken]
ERROR: missing rom file: C:/emulators/Programs/zinc/roms//tekken.zip [ te2verb.2l
I assume this means I am missing rom files?

if you used zinccab, you might need to remove the last / in the rompath (some time I coded on zinccab since), since I see it have used double //, but normally it should not been that problem either.
So checkout you have te2verb.2l in the tekken.zip file.
But you can not ask us to how to find and download it, due the rules in the forum.
