My wife just took over the treasurer position for our homeowners association. The previous treasurer used a ridiculous and bloated method for recordkeeping and billing. I took a look at Quickbooks this evening, and it will do everything the HOA needs, but with a fraction of the work long term.
Here's my problem. The board members are dumb shits, and won't approve the purchase of a software suite. I'd buy it myself, but then I'd have to pass it on when the wife gives up the position.
So....
Does anyone here have an older copy of quickbooks they no longer use that they could hook a bro up with?
And before any smart asses chime in, pirated software is 100% out of the question for this application.

There may be a catch but I believe Intuit offers a free "starter" version of Quickbooks.

I do. It's a few years old and isn't supported so I had to updated to a new version. I can send it out to you on Monday.
Its 2006 Pro I believe. It has a lot of bloat that you won't use.
