Title: Are ALL JAMMA cabinet Monitors 15Khz?
Post by: miner49er on May 15, 2009, 08:32:03 am
I have the possibilty of purchasing a generic JAMMA with (I tihink) 28" monitor. Will this run at 15Khz and therefore be suitable for classic games such as Bubble Bobble etc?

The JAMMA standard is just a pin-out standard (a loose one at that). It provides for Red Green Blue and sync signals. Those signals can in theory be any frequency, so ...  find out specifically what monitor is in there.

Additonally, there is no generic JAMMA cabinet.  JAMMA is a wiring standard and can be found in any cabinet.

Have you seen a game running on this monitor or know a game that has run on this monitor?
