HELL YES! My favorite Dragon's Lair game!
I've been waiting for this for a year and a half now for ripping cleaned up high res vids for daphne. I can't wait to buy for my blu-ray collection & cabinet. ;D ;D ;D

This Blu-ray release includes the following special features:
- Interviews with game creators Don Bluth and Gary Goldman
- Picture in Picture video commentary from the creators
- Viewing Mode Options: Widescreen (16:9) or Anamorphic (4:3) video playback
- Watch Mode – Watch Don Bluth's stunning animation without playing
- Extras – An animatic of the lost ‘Pirate Ship' scene & Progression Reel
- Subtitles: English, French, Spanish, Italian and German
All of the special features on the disc were shot natively in 1080p including all-new interviews with creators Don Bluth and Gary Goldman, and for the first time a full length visual commentary of the game.
Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp Blu-ray will be available June 2nd at many software and movie retailers as well as online at www.digitalleisure.com. Both Dragon's Lair and Space Ace are currently available on Blu-ray.

Ooooo, happy b-day to me, indeed. The HD rips of Dragon's Lair and Space Ace look wonderful. Dragon's Lair 2 is probably my favorite and the most played on my cabinet. The HD version will make a happy home on my cabinet.

I wonder if this sentiment is generational. Seems, and I share this view, that us older folks like DL more because the scenes aren't generally so god-awful long and memory-intensive. I can see DL2 being very much like Shinobi or something.

I'm not really sure how generational it is... I'm 33 and will be 34 on June 2nd. I grew up with both DL 1 and DL2 in the arcades. I enjoy DL1, but I just really love the Don Bluth animation that was done for DL2.
