Sorry to jump in...
Anodizing is a finishing process exclusive to aluminum alloys. Steel alloys are plated vs. anodized.

Oscar is correct; aluminum alloy is much softer and porous than steel which limits the anodizing process to aluminum and other such metals. Although plating can be an option, we dont plan on offering it on our new SS-Competition handles due to the extremely high cost of having to stock large quantities of multiple colors for orders, trust me, you will love the clear polished ones, they are really awesome. FYI, I will be updating our website and posting an official announcement here in about 30 minutes with the new handle release.
