Title: Favorite Japanese games?

Curious to see what folks' favorite Japanese games are in MAME.
Especially if you think you have an obscure title one that's pretty good.

Tried Legend of Heroes the other day myself and it was surprisingly good,
if a little formulaic.

Define Japanese games. You mean games made in Japan or games that were only released in Japan?

Either, I guess.
Probably I'm more interested in the ones that were only released in Japan though...

well, i'm not sure if it's japanese only, but i really liked ninja baseball batman.
weird title, weirder concept, lot's of fun.

That's an awesome game. Was Puli-rula Japanese only? That's a great one as well.

I like the game "Quester" that namco put out.. it's basically Namco's version of Arkanoid.. even Galaga/pac-man make cameo's in block form.. Try it out if you have a spinner on your cab.

I also love this one... Best bosses ever. Giant spiders with cat heads and babies. Very cool and bizarre.
