I just picked up, (well me and three other guys that thing is heavy and awkward) a Super Sprint 3 Player cabinet. This is the first cab I bought that I bought with really no intention of Mameing it. It is also the 1st one that is complete and original as far as I can tell. No wires hacked , something else originally , and *works* , everything that is, but the 19" monitor which appears dead. The cardboard around the monitor looks great, no scratches on the glass. The only bad wood on it is the base which is weak and has the pedals mounted to it. No one sees that anyway but I was going to replace it- shouldn't take long at all.
The bigest problem is the monitor which is Medium resolution WG K7000 the tube looks like it got "Jacked" on the end and it had a bad fuse. I posted on the monitor forum to try and fix it, but it's not looking good. I was trying to find a replacement, but being a med res 19" those seem few & far between. One on EBay for $285... that seems like a lot for a 25 year old monitor. I can find a larger used medium but even then I'd have to hack up some of the cabinet, cardboard marquee. Any thought's ideas or options.
Thanks !

That's a great game, definitely worth a restore IMO.
I wonder if one of those 19" tri-syncs would work (the ones that support EGA)?
Here's one I've never even heard of before:

I know Billabs had one, and possibly Wells Gardner?
Looks like Happ also sells a 19" medium res monitor:

(although no way to add it to your cart) ???

It was reported on KLOV that the WG Tri-Syncs do, in fact, work with Atari System II games. But then WG went and sold out of them and have no plans on restocking...
Medium res monitors are a ---smurfette--- to find and a ---smurfette--- to fix.

Still no luck on finding a used monitor- or fixing mine.
I'm going to take it down to a local place and see if they have an opinion on it.
I'm waiting for a quote on a 19'' NT-500DXi9 from www.neotecgraphic.com I never heard of them either.
Anyone know if they have repo side art for it anywhere - I couldn't find any.
