I have a q*bert restoration I am about to start working on, but I have no sound board. Please PM if you have one available or any info where I might find one.

Got it Peale..location added....Sorry bout that..
i'm actually trying to figure out what to do with this project now..Here's the story. I bought this machine off of craigslist that was a q*bert board, marquee, bezel in a "The End" cabinent. The machine is working(kindof). Graphics are fine...Basic sound ok..
"The End" machine was converted to a q-bert, but it has a switching power supply, no knocker, no sound board, and no power supply for the needed 30v sound board. Some extras were thrown in.. A sideart set, control panel art set, and an extra qbert logic board. The extra logic board plays fine but no sound at all. I really do not like "The End" cabinet. I had planned to scratch build a qbert cab using jakobud.com's plans and use all original qbert equipment.
So now it looks like I need a power supply and sound board..anyone?

I advised via PM that I have a rebuilt sound board and know where you can get a rebuilt power supply.
Unless you were asking if that is all you need. Or are asking for freebies. If either then nevermind and sorry to bug ya.

No not looking for freebies.. I was hoping I might receive a response with a lower price on the power supply. $85 is just too steep for me right now. I am interested in the speech board spiff, and I appreciate the offer. I will most likely be posting a thread in the Main Forum describing my situation with photos in hopes of receiving some advice ( keep what I have and build from there? sell and wait for a more complete cab?)
I really want an original Qbert machine, but I want to make sure this project doesn't start getting too expensive. This is the first machine that I didn't do any homework before purchase, now i'm having regrets. Sorry if the last post was misleading. I probaly should have sought advice before posting this WTB thread. :blah:

Can't blame you. It is starting to sound like an expensive project considering you have the wrong cab.
