Title: Installing a new vision pro
Post by: Biscuit on April 30, 2009, 08:25:57 pm
I just bought a new 19" Vision Pro shelf mount monitor to replace the one in an old Ms. Pac cab that had been turned into a Black Tiger machine.  I have a 48-1 running on it.  My problem is, I don't know anything about installing the new monitor and it came with no instructions whatsoever.   The old monitor is a Shinlee.

I took a few pictures that I hope will help one of you kind souls walk me through the process.  I have safely discharged the Shinlee monitor a few times, so I'm somewhat versed in that.  I just don't know what to hook to what!

Here's the Vision Pro:

Here's the bottom of my cab.  That vertical box is a switching power supply is that right?  I'm not exactly sure what the other two components beside the vertical box are.

Here's the 48-1 board with the Jamma harness.

Seems like the two wires soldered wires at the top are from the power supply cord to a connector that read something along the lines of a isolation transformer being required.   :dunno

Can anyone help out a complete noob?  Or maybe point me to some resources on the net?

Thanks!
