Title: Stopping and restarting mala with Big Buck Hunter

I have posted under the software forum a thread about big buck hunter and lag. To free up more memory is there a way to close mala completely when calling this game then restarting it when you escape. As I understand it Mala is running in the background all the time?

You could try launching a batch file on mala exit. You can set mala to launch a program on exit

In th batch file you get it to Launch you game the Launch MaLa (which it won't do until the game exits)

Err used my head and ran BBH from windows with Mala off. Same issue. Should have thought of that first- DOH!

I am using a nocd version of the game- and I suspect that the modified .exe's used may be causing this as they are smaller than the originals. I have a genuine copy on the way on CD. I'm going to try making a backup copy with protection then mount the iso on a virtual drive. But I think the protection will stop a virtual drive. I really don't want a CD drive in the cab
