Title: Mameplus filters in MaLa?
Post by: xtravbx on April 24, 2009, 12:41:12 pm
I like the MaLa front end. I like the video filters and tunability that Mame Plus! gives you.

Is there a way to use MaLa to be a front end for Mame Plus! so I can use those features?

The filters MAMEPLUS offer are also talked about in this thread.

It also has a setting where you tell it that you're on a 16:9 screen - and it forces the game you're playing to run in it's normal 4:3 picture, I also like that feature.

So it's just a mame variant.

Have you tried using it with MaLa?

OK I will rephrase

Have you tried using mameplus instead of mame using the same method as mame.

Nope. I guess I will mess with it when I get home.

I didn't no MaLa was able to operate as a front end for anything else but the standard MAME program.

I can if the mame variant responds the same way mame does
