Title: San Francisco Rush 2049 sound issues

Hey guys, recently I updated my operating system to vista and am completely loving it except for one thing.  When I play San Rush 2049.... about 20 seconds into the game the sound completely quits on me. 

Any ideas on how I might fix this?  Maybe there's a sound file somewhere I can use?
