Was looking at buying a logic tester/probe.
I've seen one's with a built-in pulser, is that any use at all, or would it be better to get a separate pulser ?
I think the beeper option is quite handy, it's often easier to interpret sounds then visual signals.
I was looking at these:

Any other suggestions ?

I like the HP pulser and logic probe. I like them separate because you can inject a pulse and see the result at the same time. I don't know if they are still available or if they are now an ebay item. Looks like the newer probes are cheaper and have better specs. Sound is an interesting feature but since the probe have to be on the IC pin or trace to work I find that my eyes are focused at the tip of the probe and it is very easy to see the LED and sound would probably only distract me.
