Pac-Man does not play correctly with 8-way sticks. If you think it does that is only because you have never used a REAL 4-way!

I like how you always "puff up" on certain subjects. It's nice. I wish I was a moderator on a message board too.

If you go through some of the artwork archives in your mame directory youll see that more than a couple have artwork that covers a portion of the monitor.
Games that use the bottom of the screen for things like lives or scores, yeah it might get in the way.
