Title: 6 in one jamma
Post by: Christoph on April 14, 2009, 11:41:46 pm
Hello, My first ? is
I purchased a 6 in one jamma connection to use for my Mortal Kombats 1-4
I guess this board doesn't allow the service switches to function to turn down the volume and such, Mk 1-3 have dip switches while Mk 4 is way to cool for the dip switch. I watched the video on the -5 and that worked great so I figured as much would work for the service switch but not so much.

Also I have all the connections into molex. I have 4 separate molexs leading into a main molex. So now I'm getting some unhappy feed back when all of them are plugged in. If I go into say MK1 with all of the boards plugged in and do a switch test I'm getting a solid low punch and a solid low kick and that is the way it is for all of them.

So is this a nasty feed back that I would need to change from molex or is this 6 in one overloaded?

Is anyone familiar with these boards or have tried to hook up all the MK series into one?

Thanks for your help

Christoph

A couple fellas have done this sort of thing before with success..... should be some help around here somewhere. Sounds like you may need to add diodes into your control harness.
