Title: Interface driving me nuts! Please help!
Post by: AE35 on April 14, 2009, 11:39:30 am
I almost don't know where to start. I'm in the process of using
emulation in my SCI, and for that purpose I have an Opti-Pac
and an I-Pac. For now, the I-pac is trying to destroy my life.
It lights up(diode) but will not accept any input OR keyboard
passtrough. I've tried two different I-pacs, with no luck. I'm
certain it isn't the units, but something else. Does MSI perhaps
have something different in the PS/2 voltage or whatever?

I've tried with NO leads but the PS/2 cable from the PC to the I-PAC and
from the I-PAC to the keyboard. No luck, these two units won't accept anything.
I've never had problems with I-PACS before, so I'm thinking that maybe mobos
are different or??

I'm ready to accept Mars rays to be the cause...

Any advice at all?

Does it produce the 2 flashes when you boot the computer showing it is working OK?   On costantly without the flashes is an error condition for P1 SW6 i think.
If it does produce the flashes send an email to Andy and I am sure he will help you out.
