This is unchartered terriortry for me on this subject so bear with my noobiness...Need someone to point me into the right direction...
Has this been done?
Currently using Hyperspin as my frontend. I have several emulators on my cab and each one has different keys to exit the program. Is there a way where I can cause all the emulators to quit with the same exit key?I have a an x-arcade as my control panel. To exit out of MAME I have to press the key 2 and 4 to exit. On KFusion, I have to use my mouse to exit, and on another emulator I have to press ALT + F4...I am starting to forget what keys do what for whatever emulator and it get confusing trying to explain to someone else. ( ok for MAME, you have to press.....And for NES you have to press ......and so on and so on....) Kinda takes the fun out of having a arcade cab...are there any body who can help me on this?

Have a look at this thread:

I think you'll find it useful. :)

An emulator that doesn't inherently allow administrative map functions is lacking, indeed.

You can exit Fusion with Escape. I forget what option needs setting, but have a look through the config file and I'm sure you'll find it. This was very kindly added by the developer on request, and a few other 'cabinet' options like the ability to run at low res.

Of course I understand this point of view but it is a little unfair. There have been some amazing emulators that lack this 'feature', and I'm sure most of the emulators' users do not see this as a bad thing (as they have no idea people run emulators in cabinets with no mouse/keyboard etc).
