List the games you currently have in your collection and your favorite title.
-
I currently own just 4 (for now)
1993 Jurassic Park, DE
1993 Tales From The Crypt, DE
1994 WWF Royal Rumble, DE
1987 Time Fantasy, WMS
Favorite...............impossible since each one plays so differently.
I dont really have a "favorite" or "top 10" list because I am so unbelievably & ridiculously spoiled for having access to 50 machines which include all the collector titles, NIB Sterns & everything in between with rotating inventory. I almost feel like Ive played every DMD ever made (of course I haven't but it feels like it).
-
Jurassic Park - The Lost World
That is all I have right now, but I am looking to add to it when I get back home.
-
1971 Spanish Eyes
-
Right now:
Fathom
Black Knight
Revenge From Mars
The Shadow
Laser Cue
Rack 'Em Up
Dragonfist
Sinbad
My preference really rotates among them and half of them are stored while I "make progress" on the basement anyway. Lately we've been playing mostly RFM in my house with some Shadow thrown in. RFM is the newest game, though, so that's pretty much why.
-
1979 Bally Space Invader.
Only pin right now but looking to add another when I get this one fully fixed.
-
1979 Gottlieb Buck Rogers - work in progress
1985 Sorcerer
1977 Gottlieb Vulcan EM - almost finished!
I would say right now my favorite is the Vulcan although I havent played it yet. I am about 95% done with it.
-
Demolition Man, non-working claw and all.
The pin rocks though, I love it. Looking to add the swear roms soon.
-
That Seawitch looks awesome.
I've got a collection of one - Attack From Mars. Wife says I can look for another once I get our 53 Seeburg Juke restored. I'm a sucker for DMDs, and hope to find a Tales of the Arabian NIghts when it comes time. That should really get me working on the Juke, but I've got a bathroom remodel currently holding that project up for now :badmood:
-

3. Star Trek the Next Generation

Stargate
-
No, I bought mine from a guy in Dallas.
-
-Star Trek Next Generation
-Addams Family
Put alot of work into the Addams Family so right now that has all my attention!
Next pin I think would Be Terminator 2 or Judge Dread...can't afford the big name titles right now.
-
Just picked up my first, an Earthshaker. Love it so far...once I got my 'ajstment failure' issue worked out. I'm already looking for my next target. I would consider anything 1986 or newer for the right price. My wishlist includes Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park. :burgerking:
-
3. Star Trek the Next Generation
4. Machine: Bride of Pinbot
I'm jealous!
I own:
Sinbad
I would like to get more SS machines but I have no clue on where to start for general repairs. Anyone out there recommend a good Pin restore resource for beginners?

This is a great site for repair tips: http://www.marvin3m.com/fix.htm ...and especially here (within site listed above) if your thinking of 1990's Williams/Bally Games : http://www.pinrepair.com/wpc/index.htm
I bought this book before getting my first pin, I now know its kinda outdated but gives a reference for parts and how they generally work: http://www.aboutpinball.com/pinball-machines-repair.htm
These videos ae pretty good and cheap , $8 shipped! I have top#3 & #4. A great reference and shows you how to by demonstration on multiple machines. Great value imo: http://www.marvin3m.com/top/
& Of course the forums!
The most useful tools I've found to repair are soldering iron, desoldering iron, 60/40 rosin core solder, 1/4,5/16, & 3/8 nut drivers get thin walled hollow ones).
I learned pretty much everthing I know about repairs while fixing up a TAF I got in. It's not too bad to do and the sense of accomplishment is great after getting something fixed!
Anyway getting off topic....back to what pins you own!
-
Only one right now.
Genesis
Gonna look at a Funhouse here in about a week.
-
1969 - Road Race (EM) (http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=1971) - D. Gottlieb & Company
-
The Simpsons - Data East
Jurassic Park - Data East
Twilight Zone - Bally
Jackbot - Williams
My favorite pin is a tie between TZ and The Addams Family. I'll be hoping to add TAF soon, but I need to rearrange the game room first and free up a little bit of cash.
-
Jurassic Park - DE
The Machine: Bride of Pinbot
Currently looking for my third while completing a quick and dirty refresh on my mylar removed BoP. New decals and new mylar along with some new posts and what not. I also am getting a new pachinko playfield that I've made. If anyone needs one let me know, I have decals and the playfield.

Q*Bert_24/7 want to stop hogging the good ones and sell some.
-
Dr. Who
Star Trek 25th Anniversary
Sinbad - should be delivered next week
Dr. Who is my favorite, I've had the game for over 10 years. Star Trek was my wife's idea, as she's a big fan of the original shows. After going to this years pinball show I wanted an older pin, hence the Sinbad. It needs some work, but there's plenty of info out there so I think it should be pretty easy.
I'm actually thinking of selling a couple vids to get more pins, but my showcase is the only thing big enough to make room for more. I'd have a hard time selling it since I made it myself. I might just make the spot that Sinbad will be in the 'rotating pin' space, and swap machines out until I find another 'keeper'.
-
So that's three guys now with a Sinbad?
-
1979 Gottlieb Count-Down, restoration in progress.
-
Only one so far: Judge Dredd
-
My first pin was a Space Invaders, but I sold it to buy a High Speed. I also have 2 Allied Liesure cocktail pins.
High Speed is one of my all time favorites. I hope to add STTNG and Pinbot in a couple of years. My budget is not very pin friendly at the moment.
-

-

Just curious, but does the Demolition Man pin reference the 3 seashells anywhere in the art/sound/gameplay? If so, I want this game.

Hahaha......that would be cool......but no they dont. There is a sequence of shots called the "M-T-L" rollovers which lights up the access claw light. I have no idea what "M-T-L" means but I think based on the movie it should have been "M-D-K" for Murder Death Kill.......so who knows.
-
I was actually going to look up and see if someone got creative on how to use them. I guess I don't have to now! :laugh2:
-
Couple of additions added:
The Simpsons - Data East
Jurassic Park - Data East
Twilight Zone - Bally
Jackbot - Williams
The Machine: Bride of Pinbot - Williams
Hurricane - Williams
Lord of the Rings - Stern
The Simpsons Pinball Party - Stern
These are my first two Stern machines ever. I've played them all (except for Playboy) and these are my two favorites. I can't wait to have them home. The Simpsons is actually for my dad as a gift, but I'll have it for a while and then once I turn it over to him for his birthday it'll only be a couple of miles down the street. It will probably make me want my own though.

My father has managed to amass quite a few machines over the past 10-15 years. He intended to make this a full time hobby after he gave up the TV repair business but never got around to any of these. Been browsing here for a while and hopefully I'll be able to fix some of these up, get them looking nice and working.
Known Working Machines:
Road Race
Playmates
Eight Ball
Centigrade 37
Mibs
Robo War
Top Card
Startdust
Pit Stop
Not Sure if these work (purchased and never messed with):
Sweet Hearts
Spectrum
Bonanaza
Dracula
Supersonic
Sinbad
Gridiron
Buck Rogers
Definitely not working:
Agents 777
Strikes and Spares
