Title: CPS1 not working on Mame 0130?????

Hello,

I have been using mame on and off since around 2000, and I'm getting back into it ,and building a nice Mame cab, but I can't seem to get the CPS1 Games to work on the new release of MAME(version 0130).

Anyone know what's going on?

Typical problem if you have search in the forum. You might have outdated roms, if you diddent updated them, since it not recommered to update mame version from that romset you have. So keep on that version you have romset for.

How would I go about updating the roms that I have? I tried to download new cps1 roms from multiple sites, but none of them worked either.

Rule 5: Nothing illegal = no ask for roms requests in this forum (and hence no PM about this).

To make sure you have a matched sets, use a rommaneger application like romcenter to checkout you have the correct romset for your mame.

Sorry not trying to break any rules, only wondering if there was a software that updated them or something like that, and it wasn't me that pm'd you. Thanks for your help I will keep looking.

Sorry bugging you about the PM, its not you (I got deleted that, but remember that name).

I still think you should download romcenter and checkout your rom collection for any problems with correct set and mostly can fix these too (if they example just got renamed). I havent have the newest mame myself, due I have romsets for a bit older version and keept to that. So from that points if its a bug in mame .130 I cant help.

NB. You cant ask for the rom request here (but you have said sorry for that), but its ok to talk about it (like this problem).
