Logitech wireless usb gamepad. What do you think about useing on or two for player 3-4 controls (with 2 player control panel)?
thanks,

I picked up one from CompGeeks awhile back, and it works fine with MAME and Duke Nukem Manhattan Project. The rumble feature is a nice touch. And if you take the time to configure it, D.O.T. is plays allright as well.
Of course I paid a lot more than that.... fortunately not the retail price.
Given the choice, between wireless and arcade controls... I'd take the wireless (only cause of the Lazy-boy recliner).

hack it like armad1||0 did his wavebird gc pad for wireless arcade controls

I've heard good things about those joysticks. I considered getting one awhile back, but they much more expensive.
-
hmmm..... i wonder how easy it is to hack one of these.... anybody have any experience with this particluar game pad?
-
Never popped one open, but I'd be willing to bet it's not easy... Of course, this is coming from someone who has never seen the inside.

I got one of those once. It was cool. Mine ended up defective, the rumble feature didn't work :(

Logitech sent me a pair of them. I'm playing around with them now, pretty cool. I'm thinking about just using them till I can build my 4P CP. Maybe I'll turn them into sticks. I got the 4xAA battery pack for externally mounting the batteries for them.
They are pretty responsive pads.

Hey this seller is located just north of where I work...
check out his other auctions...
maybe send your mame output (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14968&item=3032311595) to a TV across the room simultaneously so others can watch without crowding the cabinet =P
