Is it really that big of a deal? Its pretty much a gutted cabinet. You'd be better off starting from scratch if you really wanted to build a dedicated Dragon's Lair. Hell the sideart isnt even there.....
I have a completely gutted Defender cab with some water damage at the base and shoddy sideart. I've wrestled with a multi-williams vs. maiming it and quite frankly I'm not sure what to do with it. The only reason you would even know its a Defender cab is the faded sideart and shape of the cabinet. It would be as much work for me to restore that cabinet as it would build one up from scratch with exact measurements.
I'm all for keeping dedicated original cabinets but there comes a time in the life span of a cabinet where you really have to ask yourself - whats the point?

That thing is not DL anymore (if it ever has been), it can be used for a multicab given the price.

+1 for Bluedeath and Flake. While I'm all for restoring cabinets whenever possible, there's certainly a point of diminishing returns. With all of the DL hardware missing, the damaged artwork and the water damage, this cabinet is unquestionably past that point. Hell, this cabinet is in better shape then the Star Wars cabinet in the other thread and I still would've tossed that SW cabinet despite the collectability.
Might as well strip the cabinet of all hardware (if there's any left) and rebuild from scratch using the original as a template.
