Ok, its not an arcade PA as such but I thought some of you guys might like to see.
Me and my GF have just finished making a coin block tidy to hold our Wiimotes, nunchucks and TV etc controls:

I got the idea after seeing [this (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=22234588)] coin block on Etsy. We just double scaled it, added some extra 'blocks' and attached the panels to a 5mm thick acrylic cuboid.
It was fairly easy to do. If any one wants to make one I have included a zip file with the various patterns I used to make it. [Alternative DL link (http://www.mediafire.com/?zdv5mmjq3wd)] The borders are different on some blocks so that when its assembled there is a '1 pixel' border around each edge and side etc.
Its made out of Hama (aka Perler) beads. If you don't know what they are they are little beads that you assemble on a peg board before using some wax paper and an iron to melt them together. The beads are available in different sizes but we used the 5mm ones.
We linked four pegboards together to make each panel as one board wasn't big enough. We arranged the beads back to front so that we ended up with the beads on the front rather than the melted side. My Gf could use her fingers but sausage fingers here had to use tweezers :D

If you want to order some beads we ordered 5,000 yellow, 6,000 orange and 6,000 black. We had a few left over but I think its about 13,000 beads in all.
The net of the cube should look like this when the panels are laid next to each other:

I then just cut some 5mm orange acrylic to size and used Araldite to glue battons to the plastic before gluing the whole thing together. Its a good idea to roughen up the sections you are bonding to with some ~120 grit emery to give the glue a key to stick too.

Then it was just a case of using double sided tape to stick the panels on.

Really nice Franco! My kids used to play with those beads all of the time, I can appreciate the time it had to take to get all of those beads placed. :cheers:
