Andy Hallett, 33, who starred as Lorne ("the Host") on the TV series Angel, died of heart failure last night at age 33, according to his agent. The actor passed away at Cedars-Sinai Hospital after a five-year battle with heart disease.
Hallett, born in from the Cape Cod village of Osterville, Mass., appeared on more than 70 episodes of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff, Angel, between 2000 and 2004. The accomplished actor was also a musician and sang two songs ("Lady Marmalade" and "It's Not Easy Being Green") on the Angel: Live Fast, Die Never soundtrack, released in 2005.
I had no clue he was so young when he was on Angel! It is tragic to see a young person die from such a condition.

As long as my project is done by mid-day Thursday, I am golden.

Slow day, eh, Shardian?
STFU, Jim. A guy died. Go be "funny" somewhere else.

Dang! I loved that show! I also didn't realize how young he was. From what I read, a few years back he had a bad tooth infection and it spread to his heart. Sad news indeed.

I try to tell myself his comment was somehow meaning I was posting exceptionally more today. Goodness knows that Jim didn't mean that comment in a demeaning way about the content itself, right? RIGHT? Well I'll just tell myself that either way.

Um, people die all the time. No, wait: people die. And?

What's your point? If you see a funeral passing you on the road, do you snicker at them? It's is common decency as a human being to show respect for the dead.
Holy crap! Peale, can you please take the trash out of this thread and then lock it? Thanks.

Don't know who the guy was, and didn't watch Angel.
Shame that peope die, but it is the fact of life we too will eventually face.
Better to make a difference in your life than wasting it.
Wasting it watching Angel when there are projects to finish.... ;)

I have no compulsion to lament it.
