Title: mameui Super Sprint help

I have a Thrustmaster usb steering wheel and pedals.
I'm trying to get this to work with Super Sprint on mameui.

In Pole Position, it is clear that the wheel and pedals are recognized because it does something.  The steering is totally screwed up and unusable, but it's doing something.

In Super Sprint, I get nothing.  Even with a usb gamepad I get nothing, yet it works fine in other games.

Do I need some kind of special configuration file or something?

Both Super Sprint and Pole Position used 360 degree wheels and do not work well with 270 degree wheels (PC wheels) or other joystick-like controls like gamepads which use potentiometers.  You will have better results using a spinner or trackball (or other mouse-like optical devices).
