First, can Mala run external applications. I have the PC versions, of NFL Blitz, Golden Tee, and several others. I would like to create a list of these games.
Second I tried it with the latest controls.dat and it didn't seem to work. I brought up the info for 005 and it said it couldn't find the control info.

I think some people run PC games with it. I don't, but I think the ideal way to do that would be to use MultiMAME to make mala think each PC game is just another mame rom (although you could put it in it's own emulator group).
IIRC mala uses the xml version of controls.dat.

check here for running pc games

What Mr Beetle said. Just make a list of *.lnk's in a folder. Let us know if you get stuck

MaLa is looking for controls.ini.
I have attached the one I use

It's not letting me download it. I wonder why the last controls.ini isn't working then. I don't think I made any major changes to it.

Which version is it based off? The latest 0.111.5.

I just installed Mala on my laptop and it worked with the latest controls.in. Hmmmm. What files do I need to move over so my laptop has the same settings as my arcade cabinet?
