Hello,
I am new to these forums so first let me start off by saying hello and that you have a fantastic community going here and I would never attempt to build my own cabinet if I didnt find this place.
I have decided to build a Donkey kong from scratch and make it a mame cab.( I wouldnt ruin a classic like you guys say by doing it to a real one.) I started off by following the path of which you guys have paved for us rookies, and bought the book and read it, and now before I actually build te cab, I want to design the CP layout. I have already bought the pushbuttons and joysticks I plan to use, and a J-PAC4( might have been over kill but I wanted the upgrade options if I need more buttons.) and I was wondering if one of you fellas with alittle more art talent than me, and the program to do so could help me out with the art for the control panel. I already have the layout and picture of what I want it to look like, but with a few modifications. I am going to post a photo of the CP I found on some guys site that I think is perfect but I would like the buttons to be straight across, and not staggerd up in the middle like his.
Here is the photo:

the diementions would be the same as a regular donkey kong cp from a classic cab, or jacobuds plans.
If anyone could help me with this, I would be in your debt, Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!
I messed with the cpo for awhile in coreldraw. I would do some testing (print out and check geometry, button spacing, stick locations, etc) to see if this will work. If you need changes, let me know and I will do my best. Also, let me know what format you need this in for final printing or whatever.
Edit: I have changed it and re-uploaded this thing at least 6-7 times so far lol. Hopefully you get the latest version! (I keep finding mistakes) :-[

Wow, that is perfect thanks donkey kong!
I'm not sure of the format that I would need for final submitting to be printed so what ever you reccomend, I'll get back to you on the test fitting as soon as I get a chance. I'll post in this topic.
Thanks again!

Thanks again donkey kong, I got around to printing it and it prints perfectly.
As far as what file I would need it in for final printing and who could do it, do you have any reccomendations?
mamemarquees? or somewhere else?

Hey man, glad it's working out. Sadly I've never actually had one printed.
Maybe someone else can chime in on a good format to send this to mamemarquees? Will the png posted suffice, or do we need a different format? How about resolution?
