Title: quick question about cocktail cabinets...
Post by: ghettodish on March 25, 2009, 12:42:18 am
What is the standard height for a cocktail cabinet? I am making a new cab from old parts. Old top with a new pedestal. I got a good start on it but it seems a little short.

Anyone have a stock-height cab at home that can take a quick measurement for me? Thanks!

The original pacman cocktail cabinet (plans here: http://mikesarcade.com/arcade/cabplans.html ) has a height of about:

1.75"(base board)+26"(front face)+1.25"(top with glass) = ~29"

I say about because there are leg levelers on the bottom that you can adjust to a certain extent.

Hope that helps.

Our cab comes in at 30" in total from the floor.
