Title: Now for the coin door
Post by: TheGameAh on June 29, 2003, 03:13:59 pm
Hey guys.  Could you point me in direction for newb help on coin doors?  I keep seeing terms tossed around like over-under, etc.  I don't really have any idea of what that means.  I'm also assuming they come in different sizes as well.  Should I measure the hole on my cab first before going off into search land?

That would be a good idea.

You could also let us know what kind of cab it is, or shoot us a pic.  For recent cabs, there's mostly the big three: over/under, Williams style and what looks like the top half of an over/under.

I've got several of each.  You need some pictures, see the 'for sale' forum, under my name.  Pics there.

Thanks for the response Peale.

Just to let you guys know it's a Stern cabinet.  It used to be a Mister Do game before being converted.  So it's an older cab.

So it's one of these two?

Yeah, interesting.

The cab is shaped like the first one, but the coin door is not long and narrow like that.  The coin door resembles the picture in the bottom.
