I live in the UK and would like to order just under £71 worth of items from Ultimarc - will I get charged import charges as a consequence?
If anyone knows please let me know, really wanted to order tonight...
Thanks

Don't see why Ultimarc is in the UK. It's probably that VAT thing that will get you.

Ah, so Ultimarc is partly based in the UK? Yes, the tax (as I just saw from the final screen (haven't pressed the order button yet!)) is a bit of a sod!

You will be fine. Ultimarc is in the UK and VAT is already added to the UK prices.
EDIT: There are additional tax's added on 'the final screen'? I can never remember paying anything additional (i'm in the UK too).
REDIT: Just saw this:
TAX:
EU rules require VAT (tax) to be added to orders from all EU countries. There is no tax added for countries outside the EU.
Ouch. I can't remember that. Looks like you are looking at £81.65 then (plus VAT on shipping I guess)

Cheers guys...
Yes, it's tax... bit crap, but I guess you have to adhere to these things if you want to be a legit business!
Placed my order... ow, that hurt - it'll be worth it though when the stuff turns up though!
Thanks again :)

i dont know what you ended up ordering...but i know that my ultimarc bill was pretty high...but i forgot all about that as soon as i got my u360s and utrak hooked up and working. they have excellent products, and even better customer service.

Ordered an Ipac4 (its about time I did really!) and the Xbox adaptor and case... I wonder whether I was a bit extravagent on the second but I'm a massive fan of modding Xboxes and what you can achieve with them so thought it would be something I'd definately utilise...

Yes Andy is in the UK and it is where we get all our parts - I won't use anything else if I can help it. Yes it can add up to a lot as a customer and from a builder's point of view it's probably not the most economicable source of parts, but I believe it is the controls that make or break an arcade machine and their parts are second to none. Add in Andy's very helpful attitude if you have problems and you see you get what you pay for.
