Title: Anyone here making low res layouts?
Post by: Stormrider on March 18, 2009, 09:36:55 am
I've finished a working layout with all the ideas I had in mind ni just one night. This program is amazing. My layout is for 368x240 (ArcadeVGA). It's quite minimalistic and simple but it offers as much information as possible (text and images) in that tiny screen. Moreover, it has vertical and horizontal switch with sepparate gamelists. I wonder if any of you has worked in low res layouts. Most of they layouts I've seen are high res, which is really strange considering they are meant for cabinets, and interlaced res modes lack the beauty of non-flickering low res modes

I use a low res layout for my vertical cabinet...

List appears at bottom... nice big TITTLE/PREVIEW screen... and marquee at top... works for me.

I use a 368x240 custom one on my cabinet but I don't have it to hand. Here is a basic one you could modify...
