Be warned: viewing these pictures can seriously damage your health. Mental conditions may result.

The only decent stuff in there are the three Space Invaders. As far as I can see they actually look better than mine...
Maybe they can rescue a number of boards.
There are some interesting things in there. Carnival, a weird Super Breakout machine !, Galaktron (wow, what bootleg would that be ?) and I think one of those Italian cabs.
Sad, sad, sad....

WOW!!! Thats alot of stuff!! I'd love to get in on a raid like that..
I thought I saw a head to a Buck Rogers in one of the pictures with all the heads lined up..
How was all of this stuff found? Someone stumble in on it or what?
-
Not sure but from what I understand through someone's grandfathers' contacts. Maybe this will make it a bit more readable, translated by Google:

Sickening ..... :P
-
Still, that does look like there's a lot of stuff to save, especially pins.
-
Yeah, guess it was actually lucky the stuff was split up like they are amongst different buildings. Only the one building was a total ruin it seems.

The guy calls his warehouse finds "Ali Baba Caves", (you know, because they're like a cave of secret treasure). To sum up the story, that particular one he describes as a property that was owned by an operator and had a large property with his house, "kids houses" (whatever that means... Guest homes?) and several seperate warehouse structures where he kept his stock and did repairs. The property was seized some 20 years ago due to some sort of debt situation, and was sealed up (but of course broken into and looted/vandalized). (I dispute the "20 years" estimate, as there is a Sega Daytona in one photo, which is a 1994 game).

There was a Pole Position II that looked pretty good. I'd snag that for sure. And what about this?....where did the CPs go??

So how much did they actually salvage? It was still hard to figure out even with the translation...

Am I missing something ??
Where'd the pics of the old French stuff go? (with the Space Invaders and whatnot and the falling down building, etc)
I saw it all the first time I read this post......but now I keep getting directed to somewhere totally different.
:dunno

Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong "French Warehouse" post...... there were pictures of a place that had a bunch of small buildings, so the stuff was spread out amongst several little places. And the building that had the Space Invaders in it had pretty much fallen down.
The place looked like it was out in the countryside somewhere. Some of the pics were taken from outside of the buildings looking in. (especially the pic with the SI in it) I kinda remember stone walls and such.
Eh, I could just be going crazy too and have no idea what I'm talking about. ;D

Wow, they really weren't kidding with that warning before the picture of the pile of arcade parts. My stomach turned as soon as I saw it. Crazy how much I've gotten to care about this stuff. :'(

Ok, maybe I'm not so crazy..... I had to go back and re-read the translated version, but this might explain my rambling about different pics.
Edit March 15 2009: At the request of the owner and for the sake of tranquility, the photos are removed.

?? Weird ??

Holy :censored: !
Imagine stumbling across that place while on a hike.
I think I'd need.
A dolly
An 18 wheeler (atleast 1).

*did the writer of this post have anything to do with this find? or did you just stumble across the article? didn't realize that while reading.

hah for real. it looks like some kind of mass grave yard for fun, hopes and dreams. And very symbolic of the industry in general. I hope some of it was salvaged
