Title: Ps3 and VGA

First off...I have no expiriance with the playstation 3, none, so this may seem/sound stupid. I am wanting to put a ps3 into my dreamcast/mame cab. I have an lcd that is VGA only. Does anyone know if doing a dvi(a friend told me ps3 has dvi support somewhere) to vga converter would support a good image? if not does anyone know a stable way to get a solid image via vga?
