Title: Are chassis and tubes specific to one another?
Post by: rslaback on March 12, 2009, 01:13:33 am
Some of you may already be aware that I have a WG 25K7197 monitor that someone did some of their own electrical disengineering on.  Rather than spend a bunch of time on it I am going to purchase either a new working board or a new monitor.

Is the only board that will work with my tube going to be a 25K7197 board or are there other (presumibaly WG) CGA boards that might work as well?

Another 25K71xx chassis will work.

What are you going to do with the old one?

Probably post it up for a few bucks.  I am going to wait though until I have another solution.  Just in case nothing is available and I have a pro fix the existing board.
