Title: New install of XP SP3 and MALA keeps crashing on me

MALA is crashing like crazy on me. Sometimes it crashes the minute I start the app. I get the "windows has encountered an error" thing. Sometimes it will start and if I move up or down my list it crashes. MAME runs great.

It's a 2.4 Celeron. 512MB of RAM. Fresh install of XP SP3 HOME. I am running 1.05. I trashed the .ini file and it's still happening.

I tried 1.04 and it seems to be more stable. Is 1.05 bad?

I got that a lot too. I ended up just deleting everything and starting from scratch. It's gotten better since I did that but mala does still crash every once in a while for no apparent reason.

try running it without any snaps present, it could be a problem with your pics, also post the error message from mala.exe.log

I used 1.04 all last night and it didn't crash once. I guess I'll just use 1.04 for now.

Any reason why I wouldn't want to use 1.04?
