Hey, now days a bank making a profit is good to hear.
Funny how we all hated them 2 years ago, now we cry for them & wish well (not in a altruistic manner of course)

Man that was a tease. I thought something good was for sale today.

There's a co-operative bank overhere that made a nice profit (2.8 billion Euro's) too called Rabobank. They are a pretty "old fashioned" bank that doesn't take too much risks and has no "bonus culture" that encourages short-term profit hunting. As a results, they gained a lot new customers the last year...
Well done.
I still hate banks and insurance companies. I've always said they are the biggest criminals in our society and the last year or so, everyone around me suddenly agrees. (Never had that before). I still definitely NOT feel sorry for them as THEY created this POS we're in now !
Same like GM. The best thing for it to happen is to let it go bankrupt. From the ashes a new leaner, more modern and especially a more cost-efficient company could be build. The axe to top-managers who earn WAY too much money, wether they do a good job or not.
They all earned LOADS of money the last decade, and now I should feel sorry for those people ? No way.

We get rabobank over here too - raboplus.co.nz - their claim to fame is they have a hot chick in the ad's, far from old fashioned. Quite popular bank among people with money to invest since they are not australian like most of the rest
-
Ah !
Yes they have a hot chick here too, actually a hockey (no, not ice hockey) chick:
Fatima Moreira de Melo
This is a funny pic, because she's the face of the Rabobank, but the team she plays for (Rotterdam) has ABN-AMRO bank as sponsor.....that's why she crossed the stick before her shirt :D

Oh, this is her too:

She's a Olympic gold medal winner.
The commercials are actually pretty irritating though. And I heard from someone who knows her mother that she's a ---smurf---. The mother that is, but you know how it goes ;)
What was the subject of the thread again ?

my arm hurts

NSFW ? It's just a back.
A nice one I admit. :D

Pictures like that could get people fired from their jobs ...

Yep, because it doesn't matter what the picture actually shows, it's all about what the other employees think they may have seen and believe you're looking at on the clock.

Ah.....what a relaxed country we live in......it's good to be remembered about that every now and then.
You can't imagine what was mailed around when I was working at the largest Dutch/UK oil company in the late 90's. In all honesty that _was_ bad taste and real porn and I told my colleagues sending it to delete me from their distribution list as I didn't want to have that stuff in my company mailbox....
Stupid thing is we were working on a helpdesk and those guys apparently thought no-one could see what was being sent......idiots.

heh, yeah. My own personal feelings in that regard have no bearing on what I try to keep here at BYOAC and at work. I'm pretty relaxed about nekked peoples.
