eBay Auction - Williams Pinball Machine 7 Digit Display Glasses (http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120369432527&_trksid=e11010.m204&_trkparms=algo%3DSI%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D8&ssPageName=ADME%3Cimg%20src=)
Here's a deal for you....we have a good size amount of NOT WORKING 7 digit Williams display glasses still mounted to the green board. These are PERFECT for that game you are taking to an auction---put it in the 3rd or 4th players and keep the hard to find working ones!

Classy!

"Daddy, why does it say BAD in black marker on the fourth player display?" :laugh2:
I have found the best game evaluating tool I have is my 9 year old. In 2 minutes he'll have tested every function you can get to and have come up with more valid observations than most of the collectors I know would in a half hour. It's awesome how fast he has picked this stuff up.

I told that guy I wanted a used DMD for my Gottlieb Street Fighter 2, so he ships me one that doesn't work.
I ask him about it, he says, "put it in a Williams machine, they run at higher voltage, you should have known these don't work in Gottliebs".
No returns, no refunds, no nothing.
He's stuck a lot of people for a helluva lot more money. People kiss his ass because he's got a warehouse full of junk and they want it.
Dude...he actually said that? Those are ass beating words, especially from a "reputable" dealer.

Doesn't work at all or doesn't work in a Gottlieb? They're not the same thing.
-
So you're saying he sold you an aging display that would work in a Williams/DE but not in your Gottlieb... I'll ask again: was it dead or just didn't work in your Gottlieb?

Things like this are why I always prefer to buy my machines from someone not in the industry.
I'd rather get a machine at a reasonable cost from an individual who knows noting of pinball (of course I know it will require $200 to be made perfect) or even buy one from a collector at market/above who has taken care of it rather than than pay over market for a machine that was assembled with trickery like many sellers do.
Death by unga bunga!
