Hello all,
I'm in the middle of restoring a cabinet (name to be released later) :) and I need to find these screws to replace the old rusty ones.
They are wood screws with a round top that gets flat at the base. They are black in color. They have a 6 star tamper resistant head (torx maybe?). These can be found on an Atari cabinet.
I tried my local Home Depot, and although they had wood screws, none of them fit the bill neither in color (none were black) nor style (round head and flat at the bottom - Button head) Anyone know where I can find this part online? They don't have to have the torx screw head, I'm not picky.
Thanks in advance. (pics below)

They look quite similar to some Wafer Head Framing Screws I picked up at Homey D's (Philips though- not torx) to use for the backs of those cheap mdf bookshelves instead of useless little nails they come with. Anyhow they had some similar screws at Home Depot up here in Canucksville - they looked like the Wafer Head Stinger Screw at the bottom of this page. They also look similar to the screws used to hold in interior panels on an old Chevy I once had.(like the tek screw on that link).
I don't know of any good places for online hardware purchases (maybe someone in the woodworking forum might have suggestions?), but hope that helps the search a bit.
