Title: Two Ultrastick 360 crashes my machine
Post by: Rowdy on March 05, 2009, 09:28:12 am
I'm finally finnish with my cab and are installing the software. But when I plugged in the sticks the computer just went black and restartet.
When I start Ultramap with both sticks and the drivers are loading: restart.
With just one stick (no matter which) everything is fine.
What is the problem? Anyone experienced this before?

Did you plug in only one first, set its ID, then the other and set its ID? (As you're supposed to)
Or did you just plug both in from the start?

Yes, I just plugged inn both at the same time. But now I have been playing with the one stick for a while and everything is fine. It is set as ID #1 (without me doing this). But the second I connect the second stick (with or without UltraMap open), the machine shut down and restarts.

I think what Ginsu is getting at is they need separate IDs.  Plug the first one in.  Set it's ID to 1.  Unplug it.  Plug the 2nd one in.  Make sure it's ID is 2.  Unplug it.  Now plug the first one in, then the 2nd one.

Good luck.
