Title: Why does joymonkey's files seem to cap off at 27.4mb ??
Post by: mrclean on March 04, 2009, 05:54:40 pm: It's really odd but if a file exceeds 27.4 mb it doesnt seem to fully download... any one else with this issue ?

Anyone know the fix ? I tried both wireless and wired to the modem and same thing (different OS and different PC and browsers too)

It uses a checksum to make sure that you have the whole download, and allows you to resume mid-download if it's interrupted for any reason. I've never had a failure going this way, even using uber crappy Iraqi internet...... 8)

Nope, still not working ???

Unable to find anything in this forum about the issue either :'(

Is this somewhere that it can be downloaded now? I just got a ms. pacman machine and would like to explore giving it a new paint job.

How do you come to the conclusion it's the wireless router? If it was every website, then yeah, I can see that happening. But not when it's only one or two sites out of the hundreds of sites frequented.

BTW, Local Arcade does the same thing with me.

I have some pieces I'd like to upload to localarcade, but when 9/10 times all I get is a blank page, I can't be bothered trying.
