Well, I've had my Nova Matrix light installed for only about 3 months now, and already 3 of the 16 LEDs (the ones on the right side) are beginning to frequently flicker. The other 13 lights are fine, however, this is quite annoying...Especially since it states that you should get about 100,000 hours of use from it. Is anybody else experiencing this problem? Is there a known fix? Or am I just going to have to order another light? I really wasn't expecting this. :dunno

This is usually an indicator of too much voltage having been or currently being applied to the unit. Like any LED's, too much current will drastically reduce the life of them. How are you powering it?

Thanks for the response, Randy. Just like it says on the website, I have it connected to the 12v port of my power supply (I believe that the power supply is 700w, if that matters). Also, I have the two wires from the light spliced to the two wires going to the power supply. It's not that the three LEDs have completely died, they just flicker on a somewhat regular basis. :(

Some power supplies can put out more than they should, and it's possible that yours is running on the high side. It may be a good idea to check the output with a meter, just in case. It could also just have a defective component. It's not common, but "stuff happens".
Email me and we can sort it out.
