Title: Sony Vaio PC PCV-E308DS- BIOS Password Problem

Guys,

I found out how to get into the BIOS (F2) on an old PC Sony Vaio model PCV-E308DS, but it asked for a Password and since I bought this computer used many years ago, I have no idea what the password would be.

Anyone know how to get around this and clear the BIOS password?

there should be a battery inside somewhere on the motherboard...remove it for 30 seconds then put it back in...that should take care of it
