Title: ...wasted evening
Post by: FrizzleFried on February 26, 2009, 10:57:04 am
Damnit.  The wife works late tonight (closes - home around 10:30pm) which is always a great time to do some game work.  Unfortunately my Williams Multigame project is on hold until I get my bloomin' artwork!  I can't drill the CP because I don't know the button locations.  I really can't wire up the harness until I get the CP on the cab which I can't do until I put the buttons in which I can't do until I put the CPO on, etc. etc. etc.

My artwork is in Colorado right now,  scheduled to be here TOMORROW.   Grrr....  :banghead:

Thinking about it...I guess I COULD moun...no...that would require mounting the CP which is silly to do until the CPO and holes have been drilled, etc.

 :badmood:

Don't you have a baby nursery to design and paint?

Not until we know if it's going to be a blue nursery or a pink nursery...

Dude you stress too much over this stuff... it's a hobby.  Relax some more!

Not stressing... just a little bummed.   I'd hoping to be playing Bubbles by the close of the weekend.   I guess I should go pick up the dog ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- after work instead...   :-\

From someone that has three kids, let me offer this advice: just go with something nice that doesn't have to be for one or the other.

Just paint Optimus Prime fighting Megatron or something.  Whats more gender neutral than that?  It will also age well.

I already proposed that if it's a boy we go with a "Mario" theme ...

... I got "the look".

I'll work on it.   ;)

I know how you feel. Its a PITA to wait for something that's holding the rest of your project up.

It's best to do things in the right order though. If you do end up working on the CP and things dont line up you will be pissed at yourself for not waiting, ruining the CP and wasting your evening anyway.

As Chad said, chill for now.

Tonight is another tough decision night.  USUALLY tonight is the night that Amber (Bach) and I get acquainted...

... but man do I want to get to work on this cab!

I think the desire to get to know Amber will overcome...  ;D

Good call on making that either/or.  A wise choice.

You can always make it Mario anyway.  What is she going to do, repaint it right after having a baby?   ;D  I've found over the years that if I let my wife choose the decorating decisions they never happen.  I'm still waiting on her to get the new curtains for the living room she said she wanted to handle.  We're using the ones that came with the house.  We bought the house in 2001.

Well if I do choose Amber it will truly be a wasted evening...

Decompression isn't wasted time.  Gotta have it.  Especially a dude who gets wound up the way you do over the little things.  Just make sure you don't waste tomorrow by getting too wasted tonight.

Dude, you got several cabs there. Play one. Or a few.

+1. A day I don't have anything I need to do to the cabs is a day I play me some games!
