Actually, Black and Decker IS DeWalt, DeWalt is B&D's "professional" line of tools. So, there is a difference, but usually its things like materials, ie higher tempered steal, metal bushings instead of plastic or rubber... things like that, but since you arent going to be using the tool every day for the next twenty years, I see no need in buying something like DeWalt.
That tool appears to have just about everything you need, and 14.4 should be plenty strong enough to tear through just about any wood you have.
Looks like a winner to me, but I will tell you, ive seen people with cheap tools make things that people with expensive tools couldnt dream of making... Its all in how you use the tool...
also a note, i was going to suggest that you make sure you get an extra battery but it looks like ones included... nothing worse then getting half way through something and stopping because you need to charge your batteries...
