Title: Controlling a joystick/keyboard driven game with a mouse?

I have Crazy Taxi (PC version) and I want to be able to control the steering with a mouse(Pole position steering wheel), but the only input the games seems to except are joystick, keys and a pc based steering wheel.  Is there any way to get this  to work?
