I was looking for a good used monitor at a good price, and for once there is one within driving distance.

I guess they don't know what kind it is - Anyone have a clue ?
I'm monitor illiterate... :dizzy:

Looks like a neotec nt-500.

Oh, they're selling those again. For months last year they tried to no avail to seel those. Kept lowering the prices, down to 29.99 I think and no bids. Because they don't know if they work. I emailed them with detailed information on how to test them using a computer and soft15, but they had no ---smurfing--- clue. If it's close enough to go check it out, I suggest you do so.

Well, if it really is an NT-500, then it will accept VGA or SVGA, so just hooking a Windows PC up to it would suffice. You have to realize that these are surplus liquidators. Their goal is to move the goods at any price while spending as little as possible to do so. That means they're not going to go to great lengths to test things.
Hum, this looks like the perfect monitor for one of my dedicated cabinets in need of a strange monitor (27" VGA).
